Program Description

This CME/CE activity provides practical, evidence-based guidance for ophthalmologists, retina specialists, and other eye care professionals involved in vitreoretinal surgery. Led by retina specialist Kishan G. Patel, MD, learners will examine factors contributing to vitreoretinal complications and apply diagnostic evaluation strategies to surgical planning. The course explores current and emerging DAVS technologies and techniques, including digital visualization, heads-up 3D displays, and image-enhancement tools.

Intended Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of retina specialists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, and advanced practice providers (physician assistants and nurse practitioners) involved in the evaluation, referral, perioperative management, or surgical care of patients undergoing vitreoretinal procedures, including DAVS.

Instructions

In order to receive CME/CE credits, participants must complete the pre-assessment questions, post-assessment, and program evaluation. Participants must also score at least 75% on the post-assessment.
