Program Description
This program will provide up-to-date, evidence-based information on novel neuromodulation-based therapies for Dry Eye Disease (DED).
Intended Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of ophthalmologists, optometrists, advanced practice providers (physician assistants and nurse practitioners), and nurses who manage patients with dry eye disease (DED).

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Integrate the factors contributing to DED, such as the lacrimal functional unit and TRPM8 channels, which regulate basal tear secretion.
- Implement novel neuromodulation-based therapies to improve patient outcomes of individuals with DED.

Optometrists Synchronous Virtual (Virtual Zoom)
This activity, COPE course (Pending), is accredited by COPE for continuing education for optometrists. COPE Activity ID# (Pending).

Instructions
In order to receive CME/CE credits, participants must complete the pre-assessment questions, post-assessment, and program evaluation. Participants must also score at least 75% on the post-assessment.
